NetXploreIt Interface Monitor plots Bandwidth usage (in Mbps) and Number of packets in Error, for a particular device interface. The plotted figures are for combined input and output traffic.
To launch the Monitor window, click the “Chart” icon.
Provide the device SNMP management “IP Address” , then click on “List Interfaces”. This will trigger NetXploreIt server to send an SNMP request to the specified IP address, using the server configured read-only community string, for a list of available interfaces and their SNMP ifIndex parameter. Once the required ifIndex is identified, enter it in “Index” box, and then click “Run” to start the monitoring.
Use the “Polling” and “Duration” drop lists for different polling and run timings. You can end a running collection by clicking the “Stop” button.
When you hover the mouse over plotting area, you’ll get multiple icons for manipulating the chart. You can save the chart as a PDF document by clicking on the camera icon.
